New Generation Learning Space Design 2018
Enhancing Teaching Outcomes and Student Engagement through Learning Space Design and Development
Physical spaces that make up current learning environments are not facilitating 21st Century learning. Students are now demanding classrooms of the future and most of us are falling backwards in a bid to attract students.
With this in mind, Universities and schools across the world are heavily invested in redesigning and redeveloping learning spaces to enhance teaching outcomes and student engagement. Teaching environments must now utilise new technology and have classrooms flexible enough to accommodate different styles of learning to create a more dynamic, flexible, accessible and technology-rich environment. The 7th Annual New Generation Learning Space Design Summit 2018 returns with a band new agenda that will feature new strategies and innovative architectural projects.
The challenge is- with the pace our digital environment and learning styles radically evolving- to stay ahead and remain competitive.
The key themes to be explored:
Assessing how to use and implement technology as tool to develop student engagement
Planning, designing and implementing flexible learning spaces to encourage student collaboration and personalization
Reviewing strategic approaches to improve stakeholder engagement and partnerships
